A BUSY SUMMER OF INTERNSHIPS IN THE LEUCHT LAB! – June 2022
Over the summer of 2022, the Leucht lab hosted 4 students; Sriya Dodda, Mahfuza Alam (Clear Direction Mentoring program: https://cleardirectionmentoring.org/), Ilana Livshits, and Elianna Nazginov. The students had a lot of fun learning all about bone biology, cell culture, and histology and we can’t wait to see what they do in the future!
MALISSA RAMSUKH WAS AWARDED AN NIH DIVERSITY SUPPLEMENT! June 2021-2023
Malissa was awarded an NIH Diversity Supplement awardee from 2021 to 2023. This award is for individuals who are from ethnic and racial backgrounds that are historically underrepresented in science and medicine. She is currently being supported by this grant during her two years in the lab as a research assistant. More information about the diversity supplement can be found here:
Lindsey Remark awarded prestigious NIH F30 award
Lindsey was recently awarded an F30 award from the NIH/NIA, which will allow her to continue her research on aging skeletal stem cells. Congratulations!!!
